Driving directions to Highland County, VA

Map Quest, etc. often give turns and use roads that are not the best way to arrive at Highland County, therefore, the following basic directions have been made available.  Once you confirm your reservations, you will be given specific driving directions to the Riverside FarmHouse.

From the  north, DC area  (Approximately 4 hours)

Take Interstate 66 West to Interstate 81 South

Use exit # 225 (Monterey exit)

Take Rt  262 South  to Churchville Avenue exit to Route 250

Travel West on Rt 250 to Monterey  (39.6 miles--just under an hour)

Once you make reservations, you will be sent specific directions on how to arrive at Riverside FarmHouse.

From the south, Roanoke. VA area (Approximately 2 1/2 hours)

Take Interstate 81 North to Staunton

Use exit # 220 onto Route 262 North

Take Churchville Avenue Exit onto Route 250 West

Travel west on route 250 to Monterey (39.6 miles--just under an hour)

(Or you can follow Route 220 from Roanoke through Covington, VA)

From the east, Richmond, VA area (Approximately 4 hours)

Take Interstate 64 to Interstate 81 South

Use exit #  220 onto Route 262 North

Take the Churchville Avenue exit to Route 250

Travel West on Rt 250 to Monterey (39.6 miles--just under an hour)

Once you make reservations, you will be sent specific directions on how to arrive at Riverside FarmHouse

From the west,   WV  (Approximately 90 minutes from Elkins, WV)

Follow Route 250 East into Monterey, VA
